Last week, we tried the Girard Cabernet Sauvignon from Tambor Vineyard located on the southern-most slopes of Mt. Veeder. It had characteristics of spice and subtle green combined with softer tannins that made it an easy drinking wine which probably is why it sold out. Look for the 2007 to be released soon, but in the meantime, we’re going to try the Cab from Schramsberg Vineyard on Diamond Mountain, located here. Here’s a short little clip with Zach talking about the Cabernet Sauvignon from Diamond Mountain. We also find out that he doesn’t like chocolate.
