Girard is back on the road again and this time we’re landing in Wichita, Kansas in the heart of America.  The good folks of the Midwest love great wine and we sincerely hope they enjoy what we’re bringing with us to share with them at the Midwest Winefest on April 19-21st, 2012.

To kick things off, Sean Roney, son of Girard vintner Pat Roney, will be hitting the airwaves on April 14th with Guy Bower and The Good Life radio show.  The Good Life is all about Food, Wine & Fun for your ears…Every Saturday, Noon to 1:00 p.m. on Newsradiio 1330AM KNSS. Good Life Guy’s Wine of the Week: 2009 Girard “Artistry”

The 2009 Artistry has aromas of toasted hazelnuts and festive Christmas spices. Boysenberries and currants saturate the palate aside flavors of exotic bing cherries. Well-structured tannins.

Blend: 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 11% Petite Verdot, 10% Merlot, 8% Malbec round out this vintage with a beautiful, tobacco and spice finish.
